It seems that the BCCI selector chairman has decided to bid a farewell to the senior players.
The squads for the Asia cup and Bangladesh ODI series was announced yesterday. It was nice to see youngsters like Yusuf Pathan and Pragyan Ojha were included in the side. Yusuf has made a huge impact in the ongoing IPL event and Ojha was also good in the IPL.The only thing that came as a surprise was a rest given to Sachin Tendulkar as he was advised by his doctor to take rest. The other thing was exclusion of Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid.Rahul Dravid had performed good in the IPl seeing the downfall of his counterpart challengers.Ganguly also had given some performance with both bat and ball. But both were denied a play.Only time will tell whether the Young Brigade will roar in the forthcoming series!Lets hope for the best!By:Arjun.S.Krishnappa
