The much speculated 12 match victory of Pakistan came to a end by a thrashing defeat by their oldest rivals India. Pakistan who never had any togh fight for the past 3 month or so were out classed by a better team India.

Pakistan conceded their worst ever defeat against India by margin on runs (140) which as many say "brought Pakistan down to earth".
