Pakistan defeats India | Too near yet too far for Dhoni's Boys

No body not even Pakistani people would have predicted that Pakistan would have bettered India in the Kitply cup final at Bangladesh. But Pakistani squad pulled off a great display against their arch rivals. Pakistan who were defeated in the League stages by India were great in all department of the game and scored a man of 315 runs but once again Dhoni's young brigade have nothing to be ashamed off as they gave up their maximum yet again!.

But did Dhoni gave his maximum? No he didn't. He was hasty as a captain for the first time. Normally Dhoni uses his resources up to the maximum but yesterday Dhoni used 8! bowlers and left his main-strikers unused and While batting he came behind Raina who consumed few balls and after that too he played like a beginner. He took single and gave the strike to Piyush chawla in the 49th over's first ball and when he decided to charge at last it was too late for him as he gave away his wicket to Afridi.

"I made a mistake," Dhoni said. "I should have come before Raina. That decision was taken in a positive frame of mind. If Yuvraj had played through, and Raina rotated the strike with singles, we would have been very comfortable at the end of the 40th over. With me and Irfan [Pathan] coming later it would have been an easy target."

Earlier in the innings it was the two centurions Salman Butt who always plays well against India and scored his 5th century against India scored 129 and Younis khan with a smashing 108 who helped PAkistan go into a comforst zone by scoring 315 runs.

Now its time for the rivalry to continue in the Asia cup which starts in a few weeks time
