UEFA Champions League draws out | The Road to Benabaeu heats up.

As we all know, Man Utd, Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter Milan, CSKA Moscow, Bordeaux, Lyon and Bayern Munich made it to the quarter final stages of the world's most prestigious club championships.

Inter Milan defeated 2008's runner-ups Chelsea 3-1 on aggregate. The other two teams from England, Manchester United and Arsenal over powered their respective oppositions. United defeated 7 time Champions AC Milan 7-2 on aggregate while Arsenal made a riot out of Porto defeating them 6-2 which included 5 goals at the Emirates.

Now, the draw for the later stages of the tournament has been made. United take on Bayern whom they famously defeated in the injury time in 1999,while Arsenal face their 2006 Champions league final opponents and the defending Champions Barcelona. Lyon face compatriots Bordeaux.

Inter Milan who had the toughest first knock round have the easiest quarter final opponents facing CSKA Moscow.

Further, the winner of United vs Bayern will face the winner of Lyon vs Bordeaux in the semifinals, so there is a solid chance that Manchester united can make it to the finals third time in a row. In the other half, there is a potential Barcelona vs Inter Milan semifinals, providing Arsenal bow out.

Interestingly, only two English teams and just a single Spanish team have made it to the last 8. France has two contenders for the title. So its going to be one heck of a fight fot he title.
